I'm Andrea, the owner and creative mind behind Thirteen Luxe.
I believe the most memorable designs are not necessarily the biggest or the most elaborate. Sometimes it's one really good focal point, the right combination of details, or something unexpected that makes you stop and take it all in.
Balloons just happen to be my favorite way to create that kind of moment. I love playing with shape, movement, layering, negative space, and all the little details that make a design feel like it belongs there.
And while balloons are the heart of what I do, I'm always thinking of the bigger picture and how everything comes together in the space.
That's Thirteen Luxe. Balloon artistry with a little more thought behind it.
On March 17, 2022, my daughter Nuri was born. What should have been one of the most joyful days of my life became one of the most difficult.
After my uterus ruptured and I experienced significant blood loss, I received 13 units of blood.
Thirteen.
That number became a reminder of how much can happen in a single moment, how quickly life can change, and how much there is to be grateful for.
When I began rebuilding my business, I wanted the name to carry that meaning with it.
Thirteen Luxe is a reminder that life is precious, that beauty can come from unexpected places, and that there is always something to create.

My style has evolved over the years, but I have always been drawn to designs with movement, personality, and a strong point of view.
I like taking an idea and seeing where I can push it, whether that means keeping things soft and layered or creating something a little more unexpected.
I'm constantly learning, experimenting and challenging myself to create better work. And honestly, that's one of my favorite parts of this business.
There is always something new to learn. Another technique to explore. Another idea that makes me think, I wonder if I could do that.
I'm a wife, mom of four, creative, and someone who almost always has another idea brewing.
When I'm not creating, I'm usually somewhere between chasing after my kids, work, and at least one new idea that probably could have waited until tomorrow.
I'm a big believer in making the most of the moments that matter, and I think the little details have a way of making those moments even better.
And if you ever see me staring off into space, there's a good chance I'm probably daydreaming about balloons.
If you're planning a celebration and have something in mind, I'd love to hear about it.
